Rio Reservoir
Introduction

Rio Reservoir offers some great fishing opportunities. The remains of an old bridge offers good structure for bass fishing. While fishing keep your eyes open for bald eagles (this is prime eagle-viewing country). Recent fisheries surveys have also found that Rio Reservoir has a healthy walleye population

Access
NYS DEC boat launch off of Old Plank Rd. Parking for 15 cars and trailers, open April 1 to November 1. Hand launch located off of Rio Dam Rd with parking for 10 cars. No gas motors allowed. No ice fishing allowed (Eagle habitat)
