Mongaup Falls Reservoir
Introduction

Mongaup Falls Reservoir gets stocked each spring with 1,250 Brown trout. The brown trout found in Mongaup Falls Reservoir average 1.5 to 2 pounds. Fish are usually found along the drop offs where the old river ran through the valley. Drift over these drop offs with a minnow to catch some nice fish.

Access
NYS DEC boat launch located off Forestburgh Rd.with parking for 5 cars and trailers. Open April 1 to November 30. No gas motors allowed. No ice fishing allowed (Eagle habitat).
