Morgan Lake is located in Poughkeepsie and offers some great access to shore fishing. This small lake also has a wide variety of fish species to catch and will usually produce some good action.

Physical Features:

Elevation: 213 feet
Area: 19 acres
Shoreline Length: 0.8 miles

Access:

Shore fishing is available on the south shore off of Creek Rd. in College Hill City Park. A fishing pier is also available.

Fish Species:

Trout, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, common carp and panfish.

Fishing:

Morgan Lake is a great place to take somebody new to fishing. Local sportsmans groups stock this lake with trout throughout the year.
