Morgan Lake is located in Poughkeepsie and offers some great access to shore fishing. This small lake also has a wide variety of fish species to catch and will usually produce some good action.

Shore fishing is available on the south shore off of Creek Rd. in College Hill City Park. A fishing pier is also available.

Fishing

Morgan lake is a great place to take somebody new to fishing. Local sportsmans groups stock this lake with trout throughout the year. You can also expect to catch a wide variety of fish, including largemouth bass, chain pickerel, common carp and panfish.
