Honk Lake
Introduction
Honk Lake is an impoundment of the Rondout Creek. This lake is shallow and weedy which provides excellent habitat for largemouth bass. Recent fisheries surveys have also shown good sized populations of panfish and common carp.

Largemouth Bass
Weedless baits provide the best results for fishing at Honk Lake. Topwater frogs are great in the early morning and evenings. Texas rigged senkos and power worms work great for catching fish anytime of the day.
