Green Pond Fishing Pier
Green Pond trail is located on Bonaparte's Cave State Forest. It is accessed by a CP-3 road, .4 mile in length, which is open to ATV's by permit only, or it may be accessed on foot by others. There is an accessible fishing pier located on the shoreline of the pond which features excellent fishing opportunities for brook trout.
Directions:
From Harrisville, take State Route 3 south .6 mile to North Bonaparte Road. Turn right and proceed 2 miles. There is a locked gate and the road is open to ATV's by CP-3 permit holders. Permit holders can call the Lowville DEC office (315-376-3521) and get the lock combination. Call ahead to confirm the combination before each planned trip, as it changes.
