Francis Lake Waterway Access Site
Francis Lake car-top boat Waterway Access Site provides an accessible pathway and dock suitable for launching a canoe or small boat onto Francis Lake. It is located in a quiet wooded setting off from the Stillwater Rd. Loons are frequently seen on the lake.
Directions:
Take Number Four Road east out of Lowville. At mile 4 to 4½, Number Four branches to the left from Pine Grove Road. After another 13 to 14 miles Number Four ends at the intersection with Buck Point and Stillwater Road. Turn right onto Stillwater Road. Francis Lake is just short of one mile out on the right.
