Whiteface Mountain Ski Center - Unit Management Plan
Whiteface Mountain Ski Center is a year-round, day-use resort located in the Town of Wilmington, Essex County. It operates under the administrative jurisdiction of DEC, and is managed by the Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) through a Memorandum of Understanding.
In 2004, ORDA completed a Unit Management Plan (UMP) for Whiteface Mountain Ski Center. In 2006, the UMP was amended to allow for new ski trail development, modifications to pumphouse #1 and the Easy Acres Lodge, and the construction of a new staff access road. If you would like to obtain a copy of the 2004 UMP or the 2006 amendment, please contact ORDA at (518) 523-1655 or email@example.com.
