Saint Regis Mountain Fire Tower Historic Area - Unit Management Plan
The Saint Regis Mountain Historic Area is a 0.5-acre parcel of land surrounded by the Saint Regis Historic Area. The dominant feature within the Historic Area is a fire tower, which was erected in 1918 and later purchased by the state. The fire tower was closed to the public in 1990 and has remained so ever since.
The Department is currently developing a Unit Management Plan for the Saint Regis Mountain Historic Area. If you have questions about the UMP process, please contact us at lfadk@gw.dec.state.ny.us.
