Moreau Lake State Park and Spier Falls
With the assistance of the Open Space Institute and through an agreement with the DEC, the acquisition of more than 3,200 acres of the Spier Falls - Sherman Island Dam Impoundment upland area has greatly expanded Moreau Lake State Park and linked the park to the Hudson River. Located in the Town of Moreau in Saratoga County and in the Town of Lake Luzurne in Warren County, this property provides the opportunity to increase public access to the river and trail opportunities.
