2008 Catskill Park State Land Master Plan
In August 2008, DEC finalized the revision of the Catskill Park State Land Master Plan. Prior to the plan's adoption, the Slide Mountain Wilderness Area was called the Slide Mountain-Panther Mountain Wilderness Area. A unit management plan (UMP) for the Slide Mountain-Panther Mountain Wilderness was completed in 1998.
