The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Contacts for Freshwater Wetlands

DEC's Freshwater Wetlands Program resides in the Division of Fish, Wildlife and Marine Resources. Division staff in the regional offices implement most aspects of the wetlands program. However, wetlands staff work closely with other organizational units, other agencies and levels of government, and with non-governmental parties to carry out the program's mission.

contact the Permit staff for the DEC Region and county where the wetland is located.

To report a violation:
contact the DEC Region Enforcement for the county where the suspected violation occurs.
