DEC's Freshwater Wetlands Program resides in the Division of Fish, Wildlife and Marine Resources. Division staff in the regional offices implement most aspects of the wetlands program. However, wetlands staff work closely with other organizational units, other agencies and levels of government, and with non-governmental parties to carry out the program's mission.
