Pigeon Lake Wilderness Area - Unit Management Plan
The Pigeon Lake Wilderness Area is located in the west central Adirondacks in the Towns of Inlet and Long Lake, Hamilton County, and Webb, Herkimer County. The wilderness is comprised of approximately 50,100 acres of state land and lies between four of the larger bodies of water in the Adirondacks--Big Moose Lake, Stillwater Reservoir, Raquette Lake and the Fulton Chain of Lakes.
A unit management plan (UMP) was completed for the Pigeon Lake Wilderness Area in 1992. If you have questions or would like to obtain a copy of the UMP, please email us at r6ump@gw.dec.state.ny.us.
