International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certification Training

This training program is designed to assist green industry professionals in obtaining the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist designation. Attendees of this program will gain an increased knowledge of practices pertaining to the care of trees including identification, proper pruning, and safety. Certified arborists may also attend select sessions for review and qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU's). Landscape Architect LU's will be available pending NYS approval.

Fees

Trainees: $375.00 Pre-registration fee (by Jan. 30th). Registration after January 30th will be based on availability only- $475.00 and is at the discretion of the facilitators. Registration fee includes "The Building Blocks of Arboriculture" [Arborists' Certification Study Guide, Audio CD version, ANSI Standards Series and Best Management Practices Compendium Set (Tree Pruning, Tree and Shrub Fertilization, Tree Support Systems: Cabling, Bracing, and Guying), Tree ID Guide to Common Urban Trees in NY State]. Walk-in registrations are not allowed for this program. No refunds.

NOTE: This fee does not include ISA's examination fee. See below for more specific information.

Certified Arborists Attending for CEU's: $65 per session. This fee does not include resources listed above.
Landscape Architect CEU's: $65 per session. Call 845-677-8223 x104 to see which sessions qualify.

Exam Fees: There is a separate fee to take the ISA Certification Exam. Fees are administered through ISA.
