Description: The property is bordered by Interstate 87 on the east and existing State Forest Preserve on the other three sides. Acquisition will enhance existing recreational opportunities and eliminate any possible conflicting use.

Location: Town of Niles, Cayuga County
Size: 35.5 acres

Description: Property is located near the southwest side of Skaneateles Lake and has over 1,100 feet of frontage on the north side of Appletree Point Road with frontage on Bear Swamp Creek. The dominant feature is a 90 foot waterfall (Upper Carpenter Falls).

Description: The property is approximately 8 miles east of Montour Falls which is located near the southern end of Seneca Lake. Description: These lands are situated on the west side of the wildlife management area (WMA) bordering Connecticut Hill Road. The acquisition will help buffer the existing WMA from incompatible development plus help protect the viewshed of Cayuta Lake.

Description: The property is located south of Canandaigua Lake and adjoins the State owned High Tor Wildlife Management Area. It is enhanced by Naples Creek, an excellent trout stream. The acquisition also helps protect the Canadaigua Lake watershed. The Canadaigua Highlands Unit includes the High Tor Wildlife Management Area.

Location: Town of Wilton, Saratoga County

Description: The property is a mixture of wooded and cleared vacant land known as the former Camp Saratoga/Boy Scout Parcel, located on both sides of Scout Road. Additionally, the land contains important Karner Blue Butterfly populations and is suitable for restoration and creation of additional habitat plus connections to other populations via nearby railroad corridor. The parcel also contains tributaries to Delegan Brook which would be protected and will provide much passive public recreation as part of the Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park.

Description: The parcel is adjacent to the Long Path providing a buffer for the Shawangunk Trail, plus also helps link several detached forest preserve parcels protecting a portion of the Shawangunk Ridge ecosystem.
