2006 NYS Open Space Conservation Plan
New York's Open Space Conservation Plan (Plan) serves as the blueprint for the State's land conservation efforts, which during the past several years, has conserved nearly a million acres of land with an investment of more than $658 million.
The Plan is required by law to be revised every three years. The 2005 Draft Plan was released in November 2005 and public comment was accepted through January 18, 2006. The 2006 Plan was released on November 1, 2006.
