Current Year's Issues of the Hudson River Almanac

Begun in 1993, the Hudson River Almanac is an ongoing record of the river and its plants, animals, weather and other natural phenomena, put together from observations contributed by volunteers. From 1994 to 2001, these observations were compiled and published annually as a bound book. Since 2003, the Almanac has taken the form of a free weekly email distributed by DEC's Hudson River Estuary Program.

The current year's issues are available using the links below. To view older issues online, visit the New York State Library's Hudson River Almanac Archive. If it asks you to login, click on "Guest." You may then need to reopen this page and click on the Almanac Archive link again to access the Almanac collection in the library's files.

For information on subscribing or contributing to the Almanac, visit the main Hudson River Almanac page.
