Based upon a series of monthly pieces by DEC naturalist and Hudson River Almanac editor Tom Lake, this online series of monthly guides to the river should encourage you to get out to the river and, hopefully, to share what you find through the Almanac. Useful to everyone from lifelong residents to tourists of the Hudson valley, this calendar details the weather, plants, animals, and events you can expect in a typical Hudson year.
