Notes: Consolidation of lands that border state forest on three sides. This will facilitate better forest management and additional recreational opportunities for the public.

Kasoag State Forest - Enhancement of Public Lands (consolidation)
Location: Town of Williamstown, Oswego County

Notes: Adjoins state forest and will expand recreational opportunities. The acquisition will also protect the surrounding state forest by allowing for the closure of a previously private road into the parcel which crosses the state forest.

Vosburgh Swamp - Hudson River Estuary Shoreline Protection
Location: Town of Coxsackie, Greene County

Notes: This acquisition is adjacent to the portion of the wetland currently owned by the state and covers additional wetland and upland to protect the swamp and its watershed. This property is also actively used by bald eagles and is potential nesting habitat.
