Geographic Data Set: Mined Lands Permits.
Description: This coverage contains data from the Division of Mineral Resources Mined Lands permit files.
  1. The geographic data set is created monthly from the Mined Land database. It will not contain data that has been added to the database after the creation date indicated.
  2. The database contains most mines permitted since 1983 but only a limited number of mines from before 1983.
  3. Coordinate locations are approximate.
  4. The version of the database loaded into the geographic data set has not been completely error checked. Some errors in location or attribute values may exist.
  5. The geographic data set may contain multiple points at a single location.
  6. Mines in the database that lack coordinates or that have grossly incorrect coordinates do not appear in the geographic data set.

Commodity Commodity Mineral resource that has been mined or is planned to be mined; typically a sediment, soil, mineral ore or rock type.
Acresrecla Reclaimed Acres Total acres reclaimed since 1975.
Acresbb Current Acres Net affected acres.
Acresaffec Total Affected Total acres affected by mining since 1975.
Acreslifeo LOMA Life of Mine acres.
Phone Phone Permittee phone number.
