A February Full of Fun at Belleayre Mountain

From a kid's carnival to a day devoted to adaptive skiing awareness, the whole family can find something fun and interesting to do at Belleayre Mountain Ski Center during February. Below are some highlights of this month's events:

Kids' Winter Carnival and Torchlight Parade

Saturday, February 2 - Fun for the whole family during the day, capped off by the beauty of a torchlight parade at night. All activities are free. More information will be posted on the Belleayre website (see "Related Links" below) as it becomes available.

Women's Weekend

Saturday and Sunday, February 2 and 3 - Calling all women! This is your weekend to learn how how to ski or snowboard. More information will be posted on the Belleayre website (see "Related Links" below) as it becomes available.

Whether you attend one event or all of them, there are plenty of activities for all age levels

Beast's Birthday Party

Saturday, February 16 - The Beast would be so pleased if you'd join him for a birthday party in his honor! Sign his giant birthday card, have a dance with him, and enjoy a piece of his birthday cake. Party starts at noon in the Discovery Lodge, and the cost is free.

Save a Pet Day

Sunday, February 17 - Join us and make a difference for some great animals. Make a $10 donation to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society before you purchase your ticket and receive a coupon to purchase a special discounted lift ticket for the day for only $25. The Humane Society will be here that day collecting donations and showing off some of the great pets that are available for adoption.

Adaptive Awareness Day

Sunday, February 24 - Adaptive Awareness Day will showcase the sport of adaptive skiing. Disabled skiers from all over the East Coast will converge on Belleayre Mountain for a fun day on the slopes with instruction, a race, and an apres-ski party to celebrate the donation of adaptive equipment for Belleayre's Adaptive Ski School.
