Save the Date - New York RGGI Advisory Group Meeting, May 2, 2013
The next New York RGGI Advisory Group meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m., May 2, 2013 at the New York Public Service Commission Public Hearing Room, 90 Church Street, 4th Floor, New York City. The meeting agenda, pre-meeting materials, pre-registration requirements, webcast information and all other meeting information will be posted at the "NYSERDA Use of Auction Proceeds" link at right as it becomes available.
NYS RGGI Staff Availability Session - April 17, 2013

New York State agency staff will hold a staff availability session for New York State stakeholders, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 beginning at 1:30 p.m., to present the results of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) 2012 program review, including the updated model rule and accompanying recommendations, and the regulatory process New York State will use to update its CO2 budget trading program. Final program review materials are available at the RGGI Program Review link on right.
The availability session will be held at Department of Environmental Conservation headquarters, 625 Broadway, Albany (directions), Conference Room 129. Stakeholders must pre-register to attend this meeting. Failure to pre-register will result in delayed admission to the building. To pre-register, please e-mail your name and organizational affiliation to climatechange@gw.dec.state.ny.us, by noon, Tuesday, April 16. Include the words "Will attend 4/17 RGGI meeting" in the subject line. Stakeholders will be required to present government-issued photographic identification to be admitted to the DEC building.

RGGI, Inc. Stakeholder Webinar - January 8, 2013
On behalf of the states participating in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), RGGI, Inc. will facilitate a Stakeholder Webinar on program review. Purpose: The RGGI states are continuing the 2012 program review called for in the RGGI Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Program review is a comprehensive evaluation that is part of the RGGI states' continued commitment to the environmental integrity of the RGGI program and the long-term development of the RGGI market.To support program review, this meeting will solicit stakeholder input on IPM potential scenarios modeling, sensitivity analyses of potential scenarios, and customer bill analysis. These analyses, along with other information gathered throughout 2012 and 2013, will be considered to support evaluation of any potential modifications to the RGGI program. November 26th NYS RGGI Staff Availability Session - RESCHEDULED to Tuesday, December 4, 2012
The New York State RGGI staff availability session originally scheduled for November 26 has been postponed to December 4.
New York State agency staff will hold a staff availability session to answer New York State stakeholder questions and allow informal discussion of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) 2012 program review materials on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The availability session will be held at Department of Environmental Conservation headquarters, 625 Broadway, Albany (directions at http://www.dec.ny.gov/about/244.html), Conference Room PA-424. There will be no formal presentations by staff at this session. Rather, the session will be structured as a dialogue among staff and stakeholders.
RGGI Regional Stakeholder Meeting - November 20, 2012
RGGI, Inc. has announced a Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative regional stakeholder meeting to be held on November 20 in Boston. RGGI, Inc's. announcement is attached.Although this meeting will be available to stakeholders via webinar, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the State Energy and Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will host a satellite location for this meeting to provide additional opportunity for discussion with New York State agency staff. The New York State satellite meeting will be held in NYSERDA's Adirondack Conference Room, 17 Columbia Circle, Albany, New York (across the street from the main NYSERDA building at 17 Columbia Circle). Directions are available at NYSERDA's website.The satellite meeting will convene at 10:00 a.m.

To support program review, this meeting will solicit stakeholder input on IPM electricity sector modeling. The states are seeking stakeholder comment on the results of the revised 2012 Reference Case and sensitivities modeling. The modeling, along with other information to be gathered throughout 2012, would be considered to support evaluation of any potential modifications to the RGGI program.

RGGI May 2012 Program Review Activities
The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, Inc., on behalf of the States participating in the second RGGI control period, will release program review materials for written stakeholder comment in May instead of holding an in-person meeting. The comprehensive 2012 program review was included in RGGI's initial design and is part of the States' ongoing commitment to ensure the environmental integrity of the RGGI program and the long-term development of the RGGI market.
The May program review materials will request stakeholders' comments on various aspects of the RGGI program, including potential modifications to offsets, design and implementation of a cost-containment reserve, the length of the control period, and the use of a current market reserve price.
RGGI Advisory Group Meeting - May 3, 2012
Please save May 3rd (2012) from 1-4pm for the next New York RGGI Advisory Group meeting. It will be held in the NYSERDA Board Room at 17 Columbia Circle in Albany, NY. A webinar feature will also be provided for this meeting. Room space may be limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible.

New York State will host two meetings for New York State stakeholders on Monday, September 26, 2011, at the Department of Environmental Conservation headquarters at 625 Broadway, Albany, Public Assembly Room 129. A stakeholder meeting to allow agency staff to hear public comment regarding the upcoming program review for the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A second, but separate, information and comment meeting regarding the economic analysis of a clean fuels program will be held on the same day and in the same room, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
