Spacing and Intergration Order County Line Field
The Oil, Gas and Solution Mining Law requires public notice and hearing to implement field-wide spacing and integration rules when necessary to prevent waste, provide greater ultimate recovery of the hydrocarbon resource and protect the correlative rights of all owners, including landowners. Public hearings took place in Painted Post on March 25 & 26, 2003, on the matter of field-wide spacing and integration in the County Line Field. This field is located in the town of Catlin, Chemung County and the towns of Dix and Montour in Schuyler County and the town of Hornby in Steuben County. The proposed spacing units were established by a spacing order dated December 7, 2005 and an integration order dated February 8, 2007.
