The Applicant, Christmas
& Associates, Inc., proposes to operate a gravel mine on a 22
acre parcel under their ownership.The life of mine boundary will be 4.9 acres, with 2.18
acres of affected land proposed for the first five-year term. There is no proposed
processing of material at the site. A portion of the access road will be in the adjacent area
of Freshwater Wetland W-24, a class I, 1,525 acre wetland. The mine is located slightly
east of the intersection of North Amboy Road and N.Y.S. Route 13.
