a draft permit and made a tentative decision to approve a
permit modification request from the Town to increase the amount of treated effluent
wastewater to be discharged into Wappinger Creek from its new Titusville treatment
plant under construction on Overlook Road from 125,600 gallons per day to 500,000
gallons per day. The draft permit contains effluent treatment level limits and monitoring
requirements proposed by the Department to ensure that the water quality standards for
Wappinger Creek are maintained.

a tentative determination to approve this application for a new
SPDES permit # NY-0259331 for Pleasure Island, Inc. (location formerly known as
Garden View Bungalows), located at 2300 Segar Road, Kauneonga Lake, to discharge up
to 5,500 gallons of treated wastewater per day to an unnamed tributary of Judson Brook
(Water Index # D-10-18-4-1; Class B(t)).
The applicant proposes to
use the existing treatment system which has been in use for
many years but not previously permitted. The permittee will be required to maintain
records and report data to verify compliance with the SPDES permit conditions and
discharge limits.
A draft SPDES permit with
DEC proposed effluent limits and monitoring requirements is
available for review at the DEC Region 3 headquarters in New Paltz.

on-site oil and water separator. This is an industrial discharge consisting of stormwater
runoff from on-site impervious area that is collected, treated and discharged via a
