Erie County - The Town Of Amherst Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Site Plan Amendment for Phase II of Crosspoint Business Park Office Building, 540 Crosspoint Parkway, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed three-story, 156,626± sq. ft. Phase II office building will be constructed adjacent to an existing one-story, 107,165± sq. ft. office building on a 17.14± acre parcel located on the north side of Crosspoint Parkway west of Hopkins Road. A 247± space parking lot is also proposed which will have direct access to Crosspoint Parkway and be connected to The Chapel parking lot; additional parking will be provided on The Chapel parcel per easement agreement. The project is located at 540 Crosspoint Parkway, Amherst.

Niagara County - The City of North Tonawanda Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 7:00pm in the Common Council Chambers of the North Tonawanda City Hall. The action involves the construction of a 185,312 +/- square foot Wal-Mart Supercenter on three separate parcels totaling 38 acres. The project also involves the demolition of the Melody Fair venue and Bluebird Coach Lines station and the creation of two separate outparcels, one of 5.7+/- acres fronting Niagara Falls Boulevard and one of 1.3+/- acres fronting Bluebird Drive at the rear of the site. The project is located near the intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard (US 62) and Erie Avenue (SR 425) in the City of North Tonawanda, Niagara County, New York.
