The applicant proposes the
construction of an 11- lot residential subdivision to be located
on a 13.34 acre parcel of land on the south side of Boght Road, approximately one tenth
of a mile east of the intersection of Boght Road and Dunsbach Ferry Road. The project
would necessitate the discharge of fill material into 0.49 acre of federally regulated
wetland and regrading of a 0.69 acre of low quality wetland, which will then be replanted
with native wetland species. In addition, the applicant proposes to establish 0.62 acre of
emergent and scrub-shrub wetland as mitigation for the project. The mitigation areas
will be deed restricted to preclude those areas from future development. The project has
been granted approval by the Army Corps of Engineers.
