Project Description:
The applicant proposes the construction of an 11- lot residential subdivision to be located on a 13.34 acre parcel of land on the south side of Boght Road, approximately one tenth of a mile east of the intersection of Boght Road and Dunsbach Ferry Road.  The project would necessitate the discharge of fill material into 0.49 acre of federally regulated wetland and regrading of a 0.69 acre of low quality wetland, which will then be replanted with native wetland species.  In addition, the applicant proposes to establish 0.62 acre of emergent and scrub-shrub wetland  as mitigation for the project.  The mitigation areas will be deed restricted to preclude those areas from future development.  The project has been granted approval by the Army Corps of Engineers.

Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

The applicant is proposing the development of a retail shopping complex (Greenport Commercial Development - Widewaters Group, Inc.) on an approximate 128 acre property located east of US Route 9 in the Town of Greenport.  The project will involve the placement of fill into 0.19 acres of the waters of the United States, including federal wetlands and 48 linear feet of intermittent stream to construct the commercial facility, the associated access roads and parking lots.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A cultural resources survey has been completed. Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
