Draft Scope And Public Comment Period

Applicant: Crown Enterprises, Inc.

Project description and location: The project involves the construction of a freight transfer terminal on approximately 35 acres of land on the easterly side of NYS Route 9 just northerly of its interchange with Interstate I-90 at Exit 12 in the Town of Schodack, Rensselaer County, New York. The project will be known as Crown Enterprises, Inc. Schodack Freight Transfer Facility and will provide a state-of-the-art freight transfer facility in a planned environment.

After Lead Agency Coordination under the State Environmental Quality Review Act the Town Planning Board has assumed lead agency and issued a Positive Declaration requiring an Environmental Impact Statement to be prepared. Written comments on this scoping outline may be submitted by mail, fax or e-mail. The draft scope may be viewed at the Town Office listed below, the Castleton Public Library, East Greenbush Town Library and online at www.schodack.org

Negative Declaration

Schoharie County - The Town of Cobleskill Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed three (3) lot subdivision of land and construction will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a three (3) lot subdivision of land located on the north side of NYS Route 7 in the Town of Cobleskill, immediately adjacent to and east of the boundary line between the Village and Town of Cobleskill, and site plan review of a +/- 111,400 square foot Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse retail store, +/- 26,600 square foot garden center, +/- 10,000 square foot retail or restaurant building, parking areas to accommodate +/- 534 vehicles and other related improvements.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Schenectady County - The Town of Rotterdam, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed McLane Foodservice Distribution Facility. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the V. Dalton Bambury Room of Town Hall located at 1100 Sunrise Boulevard, Rotterdam, NY. Comments will be accepted on the DEIS to be received no later than May 25, 2007 and should be addressed to Lawrence DiLallo - Planning Commission Chairman, 1100 Sunrise Boulevard, Rotterdam, NY 12306. Copies of the DEIS are available for review at the Rotterdam Branch of the Schenectady County Library, the Rotterdam Town Clerk's Office, and on-line at www.rotterdamny.org. The action involves:
