Erie County - The Town Of Amherst Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning 2615 Millersport Highway will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves rezoning of 15.50 acres of land located at 2615 Millersport Highway from Cluster Residential District Three A (CR-3A) and Commercial Service (CS) to Residential District Three (R-3). The purpose of the rezoning is to protect the existing single-family character of the subject area and surrounding vicinity by lowering the allowable densities. The Amherst Town Board initiated this rezoning request in its Resolution of November 7, 2005. The project is located at 2615 Millersport Highway, Amherst.

The action involves construction of a single-story, 324 sq. ft. addition to the south side of the existing office building and six (6) new parking spaces. The property is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Dodge and Transit Roads and contains a portion of Ransom Creek in the southern portion of the site. The petitioner is Transit Road Associates, Inc., 9750 Transit Road, East Amherst, NY 14051. The project is located at 9750 Transit Road, Amherst.

Erie County - The Town Of Amherst Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning of 25 Properties in the Millersport Highway Corridor will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning of 25 parcels along the Millersport Highway corridor of the Town. The purpose of the rezoning is to bring the parcels into conformance with the goals and objectives of the Amherst Bicentennial Comprehensive Plan for this corridor from Smith Road to Transit Road. The Amherst Town Board requested this rezoning in its Resolution of May 1, 2006.
