Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The Town of Stafford Town Board, with the assistance of the Town of Stafford Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, as lead agencies have determined that the proposed Comprehensive Plan to guide growth in the Town of Stafford will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Town of Stafford concluding that the project will not adversely affect the natural resources of the State and/or the health, safety and welfare of the public, and is consistent with social and economic considerations. In reaching this decision, the Town of Stafford carefully considered all the Criteria for Determination of Significance listed in the SEQR regulations (6 NYCRR 617.7). The project is located in the Town of Stafford, Genesee County, New York (entire Town).

Monroe County - The City of Rochester, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Construction of single family dwelling units and one carriage house at 70 East Boulevard will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves subdivision of the property at 70 East Boulevard from a single family residence on one parcel to five parcels and to construct four single family dwellings and one carriage house.

Steuben County - The Town of Canton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Amendments to the Town of Caton Zoning Law concerning Adult Uses will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amendments to the Town of Caton Zoning Law Section 2.1 Definitions adding adult live entertainment establishments, adult uses, massage studios, tattoo parlors and body piercing specialists, and nudist camps; adding these uses to the A-R zone as Conditional Uses, amendments to parking, signs and buffer sections, and additional sections 11.26 Adult Uses and Adult Live Entertainments Establishments and 11.27 Nudist Resorts, Camps or Developments.

Wayne County - The Town of Ontario, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendments to Town of Ontario Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amendments to the Town of Ontario Zoning Law to make changes consistent with the new Town of Ontario Comprehensive Plan adopted in June, 2006, and to make various minor technical adjustments. The action is townwide.

Wayne County - The Town of Ontario, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Albright Farms Conservation Easement will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Town of Ontario and the Genesee Land Trust purchasing a conservation easement on 339 acres of farmland owned by Albright Farms, Inc., in order to restrict its use to agricultural purposes. The project is located south of Lake Rd. on or near Knickerbocker Dr., Town of Ontario, Wayne County.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Livingston County - The Town of Caledonia Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Caledonia Ethanol Facility. A public hearing will be held on March 7, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. (Note: Rescheduled from 2/14/07 due to Snow Emergency) at the Caledonia Middle School Auditorium, 99 North Street, Caledonia (Note Change in Location). Public comment period ends March 21, 2007 (Note: extended from 2/28/07). The action involves Cilion Inc. proposing to develop an agricultural ethanol production facility where corn will be processed to generate up to 55 to 60 million gallons of denatured ethanol per year for use as fuel additive, along with distillers grain and syrup co-products for use as high-protein livestock feed supplements. The project is located in the Town of Caledonia, adjoining Commodity Resource Corporation dry feed and fertilizer facility located near the northeast corner of junction of Rochester & Southern Railroad and State Route 5. 2773 Caledonia-Leroy Road (State Route 5), Caledonia, NY 14423.
