The applicant proposes the
construction of a one-story commercial building and parking
facility, within the adjacent area of a NYSDEC regulated tidal wetlands. The proposed
parking consists of 19,650 square feet pervious gravel for customer parking and 5,924
square feet impervious asphalt for employee parking. A deed restricted area will be
established between the wetland and the project site. The project site is located in Far
Rockaway at the corner of Beach Channel Drive and Hassock Street, Tax Block 15650,
Lot 24 (formerly lots 10, 15, 24, 30 and 42).
