The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling and to clear a section of the adjacent area associated with the NYSDEC regulated freshwater wetland designated HV-1.  Construction would occur within 77 feet of the wetland boundary and clearing would be done within 62 feet of the boundary.  The project is associated with the creation of a subdivision, an activity which is not regulated under the Freshwater Wetlands Act.  The affected parcels are D and a small section of C.  A non-fertilization buffer zone to be planted with native species would be created along the boundary of parcel C closest to the wetland.

The applicant proposes to install an irrigation well with a capacity of 80 gallons per minute for the purpose of nursery stock production.  The well is proposed to be 6 inches in diameter and to have a depth of 250 feet.  The proposed project is located at 6050 Northern Blvd.,  East Norwich, Town of Oyster Bay, NCTM # 16-6-Lots 894 thru 897.

The applicant proposes to dewater for the construction of proposed additions.  The proposed dewatering system consists of five 12 inch diameter wells, spaced 100' to 140' apart, at a depth of 50 ft.  Estimated daily pumpage is 2.4 million gallons.  The site is located at Bergen Point STP, Bergen Ave., West Babylon, Town of Babylon, Suffolk County.

The applicant proposes to expand an existing 20-acre pond, which extends 25 feet below the groundwater table, to a 54-acre pond extending 100 feet below the groundwater table. The pond is located within a permitted sand & gravel mining site.  Upon cessation of mining the project area will be rehabilitated to create an ecological habitat pursuant to the revised Wetland Rehabilitation Workplan and the pond will be made available for public fishing access.  The project is located west of Miller Place - Yaphank Road and north of Whiskey Road in Miller Place, Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County.  Additional information may be found at the following websites:

The applicant proposes reconstruct 240 feet of timber bulkhead with a steel sheet pile bulkhead, including 150 feet of bulkhead to be reconstructed within 27 inches of the existing bulkhead, 40 feet to be constructed landward of the existing bulkhead and 50 feet to be removed and replaced with a 55 foot section.  The applicant also proposes to place fill between the bulkheads as backfill, repair a 10 foot section of bulkhead and remove a davit.  Placement of fill behind the 150 foot section of bulkhead which will be located seaward of apparent high water will result in the permanent loss of approximately 337.5 square feet of tidal wetlands known as littoral zone (SM/LZ).  The project is located at the Eatons Neck Coast Guard Station, north end of Lighthouse Road, Asharoken, Town of Huntington, Suffolk County.

Applicant proposes to dewater a site for construction of 32 planned retirement community condominium units. Dewwatering is required for the installation of onsite water supply piping, sewage collection piping, sewage pump station and offsite drainage piping. Estimated daily pumpage will be 1,152,000 gallons for a duration of approximately 60 days with discharge to adjacent area of fresh water wetland BE-6 utilizing filter bags and stone rip rap.  The project is located on east side of Oakdale-Bohemia Rd, 400' north of Montauk Blvd, Oakdale, Town of Islip, SCTM# 500-436-01-10/11/12.
