Notice of Extended Public Comment Period

Cohocton Wind Power Project

The Planning Board of the Town of Cohocton, as lead agency, has accepted a Supplement to the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (Supplemental DEIS) on the proposed Cohocton Wind Power Project. See Environmental Notice Bulletin dated January 3, 2007.

The public comment period on the Supplemental DEIS has been extended, and public comments are requested and will be accepted until February 15, 2007. The Supplemental DEIS is available for inspection at the Town of Cohocton Municipal Building, 15 South Main Street, Cohocton, NY 14826; Town of Cohocton Court Facility, 19 Main Street, Atlanta, NY 14808; E.J. The public comment period on the Draft EIS has been extended, and public comments are requested and will be accepted until February 15, 2007. Negative Declaration

Wayne County - The Town of Arcadia Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No. 1 of 2007 - Administration and Enforcement of the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (Uniform Code) and the NYS Energy Conservation Construction Code (Energy Code) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves Local Law No. 1of 2007 provides for the administration and enforcement of the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (Uniform Code) and the NYS Energy Conservation Construction Code (Energy Code) within the Town of Arcadia. The project is a Town wide action within the Town of Arcadia, Wayne County, New York.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Livingston County - The Town of Caledonia Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Caledonia Ethanol Facility. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on February 14, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. (Note: Rescheduled from January 24 2007) at the Caledonia Town Office, 3109 Main Street, Caledonia (Note: Change in location). Public comment period ends February 28, 2007 (Note: extended from February 14, 2007). For Draft EIS Internet website availability: links from either www.crcconnect.com or www.cal-mum.com. The action involves Cilion Inc. proposing to develop an agricultural ethanol production facility where corn will be processed to generate up to 55 to 60 million gallons of denatured ethanol per year for use as fuel additive, along with distillers grain and syrup co-products for use as high-protein livestock feed supplements. The project is located in the Town of Caledonia, adjoining Commodity Resource Corporation dry feed and fertilizer facility located near the northeast corner of junction of Rochester & Southern Railroad and State Route 5.
