Project Location: Klondike State Forest - East of Tanner Road and South of Patchen Road in the Town of Amboy
Project Description: The action involves an herbicide application to reduce the abundance of fern to a level that would allow the natural regeneration of desired tree species. The action is to take place on 9 acres of red pine plantation with a red maple component of 25%. Impact on public health is minimal. Personnel will be equipped with safety equipment. Also, following label instructions for the application will minimize risk to both the applicant and the environment.
Oswego County - The Town of Volney, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New Water Distribution System will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a water project along Kingdom Road, March Road and County Route 45. This project will provide water from the Town of Scriba to approximately One Hundred and Twenty residential and business parcels in the area. The project is located in the Town of Volney.

Tompkins County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Drilling Permit Application for Ansbro Petroleum Co. Proposed Hardie D 1 Natural Gas Well Located within Tompkins County Agricultural District #01 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves drilling a natural gas well in the Town of Lansing, Tompkins County located within Tompkins County Agricultural District #01. Drilling operations will be conducted in accordance with the drilling permit issued and rules and regulations of the Department. The total area proposed to be disturbed during the initial construction phase for the well site and access road is 128,110 square feet or approximately 2.94 acres. After the well has been drilled, it will be put into production or plugged and abandoned. The well pad and access road areas for a producing well will be reduced to 35,610 square feet or approximately 0.82 acres and the remaining disturbed areas reclaimed. If the well is plugged and abandoned, the site will be reclaimed. Project located is the Hardie D property approximately 800 feet north of Storm Road and 400 feet east of Holden Road. The project is located in the Town of Lansing, Tompkins County.
