Project Description: The action involves a two lot subdivision of 64.1acres involving wetlands developed by a pre-existing industrial use (sawmill) and construction of an office to support existing sawmill operations. The office will be 1,750 square feet in size, less than 20 feet tall, and will be served by a new well water supply and new engineered on-site wastewater treatment system. Amended soils are necessary to assure a slower percolation rate at the location of the wastewater treatment system. The 12.8 acre lot will be conveyed to Lake George Forest Products, Inc. and the 51.3 acre lot will be retained by Sweet Lumber Company who propose continuation of the pre-existing sawmill operations and no new land use or development
