The applicant proposes the
creation of three open water potholes connected by level
ditches in New York State Freshwater Wetland RU-15. The project is proposed under the
USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service's Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) with
the goal of improving wildlife habitat. Approximately 7,500 cubic yards of material will
be excavated in the construction of the 3 acre project. The excavated material will be
spread on adjacent uplands and used in the creation of upland habitat.
