Pursuant to Section 120-w of the New York State Municipal Law, the Town of Porter, New York, a municipal corporation having offices located at 3265 Creek Road, Youngstown, New York 14174 gives notice of the following: The Town of Porter proposes to issue a Request for Proposal for the collection and disposal of solid waste for the Town and its residents pursuant to Section 120-w of the New York State Municipal Law. To provide for public information and review a draft of the Request for Proposal may be viewed and comments accepted at the Town of Porter Town Hall during regular business hours at 3265 Creek Road, Youngstown, New York 14174. The period for review and comment shall be sixty days from the date of publication of this notice.

Erie County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, with the cooperation of Erie County, is proposing to construct an angler access parking area within the Countyís Eighteen Mile Creek Park at the western terminus of South Creek Road in the Town of Hamburg. The parking area is designed to accommodate 10 vehicles and help to provide access to Eighteen Mile Creek and South Branch Eighteen Mile Creek. In accordance with 6NYCRR Part 618, the Departmentís implementing regulations for the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the proposal has been identified as a "Type II" action.

Erie County - The Evans Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Agricultural Zoning and Land Use Regulations will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of two new zoning classifications, including Agricultural and Open Space and Rural Agriculture, the amendment of the Suburban Residential classification to Rural Residential, the adoption of a Local Right To Farm Law, and the establishement of a Agricultural Advisory Committee. These actions are aimed at protection and enhancing agricultural uses in the Town, accommodating a greater variety of agricultural pursuits, promoting economic development, acknowledging changing trends in the agricultural industry and preserving open space and community character.

Erie County - The Orchard Park Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Knoche Farms Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on December 13, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Center Basement, Public Meeting Room, 4295 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY. Comments on the Draft EIS are requested and will be accepted by the contact person until December 6, 2006. The action involves the development of a ninety-seven Lot subdivision on 78.6 acres of vacant land located on the north side of Milestrip Road, west of Transit Road.
