Rensselaer County - The Rensselaer County IDA, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed South Troy Industrial Park Environmental Restoration Site will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the performance of the remedies selected in the NYSDEC Environmental Restoration Program (ERP) Record of Decision for the South Troy Industrial Park Site, (Site #B00163). These actions generally involve the placement of a minimum 12 inches of clean soil over the site, treatment of soil and groundwater in the area where a buried tank and drums were removed, excavation and removal of an abandoned petroleum pipeline, development of a site management plan, imposition of environmental easements, periodic certifications of the institutional and engineering controls, and long term monitoring.

Greene County - The New Baltimore Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Update To Town Of New Baltimore Comprehensive Plan. A public hearing on the Draft Generic EIS will be held on December 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the New Baltimore Town Hall, 3809 County Route 51, Hannacroix, NY. The public comment period ends December 14, 2006. The action involves an update to the Town's Comprehensive Plan, which is a Type I action. This plan sets forth a vision, goals, subgoals, strategies and recommendations, a general future land use map, and a plan for implementation.
