Chenango County - The New York State Department Of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chenango RA # 21, Stand A-37, Site Preparation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. This project will involve an herbicide application to reduce undesirable understory vegetation (striped maple, beech, & fern) to allow the natural regeneration of desired species such as sugar maple, black cherry, white ash and red maple. The action is to take place on 38 acres, presently occupied by hardwood forest. Impact on public health is minimal. Personnel will be equipped with safety equipment. Also, following label instructions for the application will minimize risk. The project is located on the west side of the State forest access road, approximately 1.1 miles north of the intersection with Warner Road in the Town of Otselic.

Onondaga County - The Town of Salina Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Southern Wine and Spirts of America, Inc construction of office and distribution facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a distribution facility which will be approximately 440,000 square feet. This facility will receive shipments by tractor-trailer trucks, house the product temporarily and redistribute it to other regionaql storage depots and onto small trucks for delivery to local establishments. In addition to the distribution activities, an office function of approximately 30,000 square feet will also be housed at this facility. The project is located at 3003-3051 Court Street Salina, NY.

Tioga County - The Tioga County IDA, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Route 434 Property Generic Environmental Impact Statement. The action involves Proposed Route 434 E=MT3 Mixed-Use Office Park Project to consists of single family, two-family and multi-family townhouse residences, professional offices, light and high - tech manufacturing, and development - scale/servicing retail uses. The GEIS is intended to establish suitable parameters for the future development of the proposed Project. The project is located on Route 434, Town and Village of Owego, Tioga County.
