Negative Declaration

Albany County - The Town of Coeymans Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Coeymans Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Comprehensive Plan is available at Town of Coeymans Town Hall, 18 Russell Avenue, Ravena, NY 12143 and RCS Community Library, 15 Mountain Road, Ravena, NY 12143-1702. The Town developed a strategic vision that weaves together the changing economic conditions, the importance of preserving open space, and the needs and desires of a diverse population. This Comprehensive Plan incorporates public input gathered throughout the planning process.

Rensselaer County - The Village of Hoosick Falls, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Hoosick Falls, Water Systems Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a new water treatment plant approximately 800 feet from the existing building. The new water treatment plant will be located outside of the 100-year flood plain. Additionally, improvements to the transmission, distribution and storage system are proposed. The new water treatment plant will be located on Water Works Road, in the Village of Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County, and will be approximately 800 feet northwest of the existing facility. The transmission and distribution improvements, including installation and replacement of existing water mains, will be constructed within the road right-of-way of several roads within the village. The storage improvements include the replacement of the existing storage tank on Rensselaer Street. The replacement tank is proposed on the same site as the existing tank.
