Project Description: The project consists of the construction of an 8 foot wide by 300 foot long fishing pier having a 16 foot by 24 foot "L shaped" covered platform at the end of the pier. The pier replaces an existing fishing pier 25 feet wide by 300 feet long which was demolished by fire during 1992. A new parking area for nineteen vehicles will be constructed in the upland portion of the site and the project includes new guide railing and landscaping. There will be two handicap parking spaces and the fishing pier will be handicap accessible as well as other amenities to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Galusha Consent Decree as executed May 31, 2001.
Clinton County - The Town of Plattsburgh, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Layman Subdivision 2006 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves an 18-acre remaining lands parcel left over from the 1991 Bay View Estates Subdivision. Four new residential parcels are proposed with three of the four parcels being at least five acres in size. Access for three of the lots is from Sunnyside Road and one lot will access from the Cumberland Head Road. The project is located in the Town of Plattsburgh.

Essex County - The Town Board, Town of Ticonderoga, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Town of Ticonderoga Comprehensive Plan. A public hearing will be held on October 3, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at 132 Montcalm Street, Ticonderoga, NY. Public comment period ends October 10, 2006. The action involves the review and proposed adoption of the Town of Ticonderoga Comprehensive Plan. The project is located in the Town of Ticonderoga, Essex County, New York.
