With the guidance of the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District, the applicant proposes to do stream bank stabilization work within Bradner Creek.  The are four proposed work sites along the creek, where the stream has undercut the owner's fence, where gravel bar removal and/or rock rip rap will be applied.  The project will involve approximately 200 feet of rock rip rap and approximately 153 cubic yards of shoal removal over about 5000 feet of stream.  The project is located southeast of of the intersection of Route 436 and Route 17 in the Town of Ossian, Livingston County.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a public roadway, utilities, and  a portion of a stormwater management pond for a 23-lot residential subdivision within part of the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland HR-5.  To prevent further wetland impacts, the remaining wetland and buffer areas on the property will be owned and maintained, with prohibitions from further development of these areas, by a Homeowners Association. The project is located north of Stone Road just west of the Henrietta-Pittsford Town Line.

Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.

Project Description:
Construction of an approximately 125' staircase down a bluff which is located in a Coastal Erosion Hazard area along the Lake Ontario shoreline. The staircase will be approximately 1 meter wide and be constructed of large concrete paver block and include an underdrain. The staircase will replace a failed open pile staircase.
