Delaware, Sullivan, Greene, Putnam, Schoharie, Ulster, Orange, Westchester and Dutchess - The New York City Department of Environmental Protection, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rules and Regulations for the Recreational Use of Water Supply Lands and Waters will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves involves repealing Title 15, Chapter 16 of the Rules of the City of New York, the existing rules governing fishing and boating on the lakes and reservoirs used or built by New York City for water supply purposes, and replacing it with "Rules and Regulations for the Recreational Use of Water Supply Lands and Waters," which would be comprehensive rules that would address land management and security concerns and enhance opportunities for public recreational use of New York City-owned or controlled water supply lands and waters. The location of the proposed action includes various areas within select New York City-owned water supply lands, lakes, and reservoirs within the Croton, Catskill, and Delaware watersheds. These watersheds spread throughout parts of Delaware, Sullivan, Greene, Putnam, Schoharie, Ulster, Orange, and Westchester, and Dutchess Counties.

Westchester County - The Town of Yorktown, Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hog Hill Associates, LLC may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves rezoning of a 93.5 acre parcel of land along the southern border of the Town of Yorktown with the Town of New Castle (identified from the Assessment Map for the Town of Yorktown as Section 70.15 Block, 1 Lots 2 and 3 and Section 70.16 Block 1, Lot 6 from R1-80 to RSP-2 to allow for an over 55 active adult community proposed at 195 units. The site is bounded by Route 100, Dell Avenue and Hog HIll Road, Town of Yorktown, Westchester County.

Ulster County - The Shawangunk Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed S&N Real Estate Holding Corp. Cluster Subdivision may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on September 5, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Shawangunk Town Hall, Central Avenue, Wallkill, NY. The action involves the development of 20 lots for single-family detached dwellings on 126-acre vacant property. The project is located at Corner of New Prospect Road and Bruyn Turnpike, Town of Shawangunk, Ulster County, NY.

Dutchess County - The Town of Fishkill Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Magnolia Townhouses. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dutchess Junction Fire House, Slocum Road (off Route 9D south). Comments on the Draft EIS are requested and will be accepted by the contact person until Tuesday, September 19, 2006. The action involves the applicant proposing to rezone a + 14.76 acre of land located on the east side of Route 9D from R-40 Residence District to the RMF-5 Multi-Family Residence Zoning District to construct a seventy (70) unit owner occupied townhouse development, including 14 units of "workforce housing" on the subject parcel. This parcel is identified as TMP 6055-01-302873, Lot 31 Filed Map 11599A. The project is proposed to be served by municipal water and sewer. The project is located on Route 9D and Blossom Court, Town of Fishkill, Dutchess County, New York.

Putnam County - The Planning Board of the Town of Patterson, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Patterson Crossing Retail Center. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on September 13, 2006 and September 14, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at the Patterson Recreation Center, 65 Front Street, Patterson , NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until September 25, 2006. The action involves the construction of a 434,050 s.f. retail center on a 90.46+ acre parcel which lies within the Town of Patterson and the Town of Kent. The project is located on the west side of Interstate Route 84 and the south side of NYS Route 311, Town of Patterson and Town of Kent, Putnam County, approximately 1,700 feet west of the Ludingtonville Road intersection.
