Positive Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town Board, of the Town of Babylon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Site Plan/Change of Zone Application #05-33AE, McDonald Family Enterprises, LLC may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves application to rezone 6 parcels zoned for "B" and "C Residence to Senior Citizen Multiple Residence (SCMR)" and construct 40 Townhouse/Condominium Units on 5.035 acres. Project is located on the w/s of South Great Neck Road at Austin Place, Copiague, Town of Babylon, Suffolk County, New York, SCTM #0100-192-01-5, 6, 7, 9, 10 & 11.

Positive Declaration And Public Scoping

Suffolk County - The Department of Land Management, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Reid Property may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on August 24, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road, Southampton, New York. The action involves removal of an existing automobile repair garage (4,132 sq. ft.), construction of a carwash facility (3,770 sq. ft.), an auto repair garage (2,850 sq. ft.), and general contractor shop (6,800 sq. ft.), a total of 13,420 sq. ft. of new building area, parking lot for 74 vehicles, driveways, a new sanitary system, and drainage swale, on a three (3) acre parcel containing wetlands. The project is located at 1810 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike (CR 79), on the east side of Bridgehampton Sag Harbor Turnpike, in the Highway Business (HB) Zoning District, in the Aquifer Protection Overlay District, in the NYS Archaeologically Sensitive Map Area, bordered on its northern boundary by the Incorporated Village of Sag Harbor (SCTM No. 900-26-1-10.2).

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final Supplemental EIS

Suffolk County - The Riverhead Town Board, as lead agency has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Headriver, LLC (Wal Mart Store). The action involves construction on the 21.21 acre site of a 174,000 square foot lumberyard consisting of a principal building/structure of 135,200 square feet and 38,800 square feet of exterior sales/display areas together with required parking, access roads and other site improvements. The project is located on the north side of Old Country Road and east and west of the northerly terminus of Kroemer Avenue, Riverhead.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final EIS

Nassau County - The Inc. Village of Oyster Bay Cove Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Redcote Farms, Ltd, project number P-125. The FEIS is available for public inspection at the Village Hall, #25B Route 25A, Oyster Bay, New York 11771, Monday, Wednesday or Friday during regular business hours, or at the Office of the Village Attorneys, Humes & Wagner, LLP. 147 Forest Avenue, Locust Valley, New York between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m, and on the official Village website http://www.oysterbaycove.net/ for the statutory time period. The action involves the applicant, Redcote Farms, Ltd, owners of a 72.3 acre parcel of land designated as Section 27, Block L, Lots p/o 217, p/o 220, 226, 227 and p/o 229 on the Land and Tax Map of Nassau County in the Village's A-1 (2 acre) Zoning District, seeks preliminary approval to subdivide the property into 22 lots as shown on the plat entitled Redcote Farms Revised Preliminary Subdivision Map...” prepared by Joseph E. Dioguardi, L.S. & P.E., dated January 12, 2006 and last revised January 27, 2006 (the “Action”). The project is located on the northerly side of N.Y.S. Route 25A, the west side of Oyster Bay Cove Road and the east side of Yellow Cote Road, Town of Oyster Bay, Village of Oyster Bay Cove.
