The applicant proposes a
phased 105.6 acre addition to the currently permitted 159.5
acres. Of the expansion, 101 acres are on 159 acres leased from Girl Scouts of
Southwestern New York, Inc. and the remaining 4.6 acres are owned by the applicant. No
changes in processing operations are proposed. The estimated life of the expansion is 40
years and the proposed reclamation is meadow and brushland with 4 ponds and nature
trails, for recreation (Girl Scout camp) and wildlife habitat. The existing mine and
expansion area is located on the north side of Gulf Road. The expansion area is
immediately west of the existing mine and east of Sarver Road.

Wetland Reserve Project in cooperation with the USDA Natural
Resources Conservation Service that would create a pothole and low berm marsh
complex on his property located on the south side of Genesee Road approximately 2,000
feet west of the intersection of Trevett and Genesee Roads. From 14-17 small shallow
pothole marshes and 4-5 low berms with water control structures associated with the
potholes are planned to be constructed in state regulated weland SP-9 and its regulated
100 foot adjacent area.
