Negative Declaration

Clinton County- The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed management objectives in the Draft Unit Management Plan for Ausable Point Public Campground will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. These objectives include: replace garage septic tank; stabilization of the campground shoreline; resurfacing campground roads and parking areas; and permanent removal of non conforming electric service at campsites. Ausable Point Public Campground is located off State Route 9, 12 miles south of the City of Plattsburgh, Clinton County, NY.

Positive Declaration And Public Scoping

Washington County - The Town of Fort Edward Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Killian's View Subdivision may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on July 26, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at 118 Broadway, Fort Edward, New York (in meeting room / Courtroom of the combined Village and Town offices). Final date for written comments August 4, 2006. The action involves a 327-lot residential subdivision on approximately 239 acres on the north side of NYS Route 197 in the Town of Fort Edward, approximately one mile east of the Village of Fort Edward. Developer would extend municipal water and sewer to serve the proposed subdivision.
