Waste Management of New
York is requesting that the DEC modify its operating permit
for its existing transfer station operations at the Port of Albany to allow the company to
increase the amount of non-putrescible wastes (Recyclable Commercial Wastes and
Construction and Demolition Debris) handled by the facility from its current limit of 500
tons per day to 749 tons per day. It is estimated that the increased waste stream would
generate an additional nine truck trips during the anticipated peak operating hour. The
facility has sufficient capacity handle the additional wastes without the need for any
major modifications to the facility.

office and scale area, a 4.6-acre area located within the original Life of Mine boundaries

stripping, none of which were previously included in the total Life of Mine acreage. The
