Dutchess County - The Planning Board of the Village of Red Hook, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Red Hook Commons will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a phased low income senior housing to be located on 20.98 acres on South Broadway in the Village of Red Hook.
Contact: James W. Trapp, Village of Red Hook Planning Board, 7467 South Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571, phone: (845) 758-1081.
Orange County - The Town of Cornwall Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Foxwood Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a requested six-lot residential subdivision of an approximately 30-acre tract of land within the Schunnemunk Agricultural/Scenic Overlay District, in the R-1 residential district, at the intersection of County Route 20 (Orrs Mills Road) and County Route 79 (Pleasant Hill Road) in the Town of Cornwall. The original plan proposed the construction of a private road to serve six residential lots. Between preliminary and final subdivision approval, the Town of Cornwall revised its Comprehensive Plan and zoning, which caused the reduction in two lots and the elimination of the private road. However, the plan will still be served by public water and the protective measures in the preliminary plan have been preserved. The project is located on the west side of Pleasant Hill Road (CR 79) and south side of Orrs Mills Road (CR 20) Zoning District: formerly R-1 Residential, now ARR, in Schunnemunk Agricultural-Scenic Overlay District Tax Map Parcel: Section 30 Block 1 Lot 1.7.
