Livingston County - The Town of Leicester Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No. 3 of 2006 - Wind Energy Facilities Law and Amendment of Town of Leicester Zoning Ordinance will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of Local Law No. 3 of 2006 - Wind Energy Facilities Law and Amendment of Town of Leicester Zoning Ordinance to provide a regulatory scheme for the construction and operation of Wind Energy Facilities in the Town of Leicester, subject to reasonable restrictions, which will preserve the public health and safety. The project is townwide.

Monroe County - The Town Board of the Town of Sweden, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Heritage Square. Comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until July 10, 2006. The action involves a change of zone for 130 acres (four parcels bearing tax lot nos. 068.03-1-13.111; 06803-1-18; 068.03-1-19) from R1-2 Residential to B-1 Business, to include a mixed use consisting of various types of residential uses, assisted living, and business and commercial uses, all subject to certain discrete conditions. The project is located at 4599 and 4687 Redman Road in the Town of Sweden.

Wayne County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed modification of the Abram Cleason Co., Inc. mining permit. The modification for the Palmer Road Sand and Gravel Pits will add 614.2 acres of excavation/affected area, and will develop 3.3 acres for an alternative access road into the site. Copies of the Final EIS are available for review at the Departmentís Region 8 office in Avon, NY and at the Palmyra Town Hall, 1180 Canandaigua, NY, and at the Arcadia Town Hall, 100 E. Miller St., Newark NY, 14513. The proposed modification is located in the Towns of Palmyra and Arcadia, Wayne County, New York.
