Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Fishkill Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Van Wyck Mews (aka Merritt Park Condominiums) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision plat approval to create a + 51 acre parcel, a + 33 parcel and two parcels, + 23 and + 16 acres respectively, to be consolidated with adjoining lands of MBM Company. The + 33 acre parcel will be donated to the Wappingers Central School District and the applicant is seeking site plan development approval for the + 51 acre parcel. The applicant is also seeking site plan approval for 337 condominium flats located within 16 multi-family buildings (305 dwelling units) and in 2 mixed use buildings, with 32 dwelling units and 21,790 square feet of accessory neighborhood-scaled non-residential use. Additional improvements to the site include a condominium owner's clubhouse and recreation area, internal roadways and driveways, parking for 1031 vehicles, stormwater management facilities, water and sewer facilities, landscaping, lighting and pedestrian amenities. The project is located in the Town of Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY.

Positive Declaration

Westchester County - The Village of Ossining Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Snowden Ave. Ossining, NY PB #03-06 may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a zoning variance or zoning code change and is seeking site plan approval to construct 29 units of condominiums and associated parking on a 5.9 acre site. The project will have access from Van Wyck Street and will connect to municipal water and sewer services. The project is located on Snowden Avenue in the Village of Ossining.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Dutchess County - The Poughkeepsie Public Library District, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed expansion of the Adriance Memorial Library. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 7 p.m. at the Mid-Hudson Library Auditorium, 105 Market Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. written comments received by mail, by fax, or in person, at the District’s office on or before Monday, July 10, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. The DEIS is available on the District’s web site: www.poklib.org. The action involves the proposed (approximately) 42,000 square foot expansion of the Adriance Memorial Library, a National Historic Register site.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final EIS

Orange County – The Village of Goshen Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Goshen Executive Center. The action involves development of infrastructure to support an office park with residential and senior housing components on a 122 acre site identified as Village of Goshen tax lots; 123-1-1,2,3,3.1,3.3. Site improvements to include associated parking, utilities and stormwater management facilities. The project is located at South Street, Coates Drive and NYS Route 17A, Village of Goshen.
