Onondaga County - The City of Syracuse Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Warren Street Garage Expansion Project may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the applicant, Warren Parking Associates, LLC, seeking to renovate and expand the existing parking garage located at 325-345 South Warren Street in the City of Syracuse, New York. The project will include the acquisition and demolition of properties and existing improvements at 301, 309-311 and 315-321 South Warren Street and 212 Fayette Street in the City of Syracuse, New York and construction of the expanded garage thereon. The proposed renovation, construction and expansion will result in the addition of approximately 500 parking spaces, and the project will also include the construction of improvements over South Warren Street to connect the Project with real property located at 312-344 South Warren Street in the City of Syracuse, New York. The applicant is also seeking financial assistance from the City of Syracuse Industrial Development Agency, including but not limited to, exemptions from certain real property taxes, mortgage recording taxes and sales and use taxes. The project is located at 301, 309-311, 315-321 and 325-345 South Warren Street and 212 East Fayette Street in the City of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York.
